Jack RobertsonPublished Wednesday, November 11, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesJack Robertson, 66, of Chidester died Tuesday, November 3, 1998. Mr. Robertson was a heavy equipment operator, Master Mason of Lodge 187, a member of Operating Engineers Union 382 and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Weston Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Laverne Harkrider Robertson; three sons, Jack Robertson Jr. of Gurdon and Randy Robertson and Richard Robertson, both of Chidester; one daughter, Janis Gregory of Alexander; and eight grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, November 5, at Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in the Bluff City Cemetery with full Masonic rites under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
