Forthman Reunion Held

Published Wednesday, September 29, 1999 in the Gurdon Times

The Forthman reunion was held September 18. Jim and Rozetta (Gills) Forthman moved to Gurdon in 1901 from Hathaway, Tenn., with their family, Corbett, Ethel, Raymond and Carl. They bought the Bill Harrison place near Crossroads Church. Don Smithpeters lives there now.

Those attending the reunion were Estelle Bear, Mauriece and Francis Herrington, Milton and Melissa Franklin and sons, Terry and Bryan, Martha McDonald, Clark Forthman, Donald Forthman of Lanon, Texas, Joe Jackson of Little Rock, Gilbert and Francis Bear, Irene Harper, Bobby and Shirley Green, Sara Harper, Virginia Harper, Robert and Amy Green and sons, Melissa Brown and daughters of Benton, George and Juanelle Forthman of Mt. Ida, Steve and Judith Harper of Mountain Pine, Delcie Forthman, Tommy and Brenda Wells, Mrs. Kenneth Wells of Ashdown, J.W. and Junell Manning, James Leroy Forthman and wife of Colt, and Beverly Sharp of Houston, Texas.

Lots of visiting, eating good food and good times were had by all.
