Miriam Louise EbyPublished Wednesday, September 29, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesMiriam Louise Eby, 85, died Wednesday, September 22, 1999, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Eby was born October 31, 1913, in Curtis, the daughter of the late Sidney and Callie Langley Thomas. Mrs. Eby was a housewife and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Eby and one daughter, Sherry Glass. Survivors include two sons, John Eby Jr., and his wife, Judy, of Pittsburgh, Penn., and David Eby, and his wife, Judy, of Ashland, Ky.; one daughter, Helen, and her husband, Paul Ford, of Southern Shores, N.C.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, September 25, at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. John Eby Jr. officiating. Interment was in Hart's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation.
