Dexter Watson PlylerPublished Wednesday, November 25, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneDexter Watson Plyler passed away in a Tyler, Texas, hospital on Monday, November 16, 1998. Mr. Plyler was born on November 17, 1921. 'Wat,' as he was familiarly called, is survived by his wife, Barbara, and two children, daughter Cindy of Arlington, Texas, and son, Charles Allen of Tyler, Texas; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty Dean of Lancaster, Texas, and Eva Williams of New Orleans, La., and three brothers, Garland Plyler of Arkadelphia, Al Plyler of Prescott and Frank Plyler of Little Rock.
