Golden OldiesDoris VancePublished Wednesday, November 25, 1998 in the Gurdon Times Friday was a very busy day at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center. The volunteers at the center were honored and Eulah Wilson was presented a plaque for Outstanding Volunteer for 1998. The following have birthdays during the month of November: Arline Cathey, Estelle Bean, Harvey, McCray, Stella McClure, Mable Ball, Edward Anderson, Birdie Quarles, Erma Sandidge, Alfred Smith, Eulah Wilson, Geneva Caldwell, Austin Capps, Lavelle Easley, Adell Tucker, Thomas Bray, Hettie Martin and Corinthia Hale. The monthly council meeting will be on Tuesday, November 24. We wish for everyone a happy and safe holiday. We all need to thank God for His blessings ad care during the past year.
