This weather thinks I'm gonna get disgusted and take my blanket off, but I know better than that.

Neil's brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Tony Meeks, from Camden visited us on Tuesday.

Charity, Randy and Caleb Lowdermilk hosted our family on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. Those attending were Chris and Ginger Meeks from Dallas, Texas, Tim and Betty Wilson from Texarkana and Neil and me. Casey was unable to come.

Bobby, Sophie, Randy and Bobby Taylor Jr. entertained their family on Thanksgiving. Those present were Cathy, Larry, John and Katy Smart from Dallas, Texas, Corinna, Jerry, Sarah and Shelbi Booker of Prescott and Lucy Taylor from Hillcrest Care and Rehab. They were all treated to a hay ride Thursday night.

George and Joy Cox had all their family on Thursday. Gaywyn, Gary, Gigi and Grant Golden from Murfreesboro, Lisa, Danny, Kyle and Caley Pennington, and others visited.

Now I call this being smart. George and Dixie Clary, Johnny, Cindy and Mark Wake, Donnie Rinkle and Ryan Ellis from Little Rock had Thanksgiving dinner at Bryce's Cafeteria in Texarkana. Just think: no cooking and no dish washing.

Kelsey, Eli and Wesley Ratcliff from Fallon, Nev., spent Thanksgiving week with J.B. and Gail Ratcliff. They had fun with family and Sunday school friends. They enjoyed a weiner roast and will be back December 20 to spend two weeks. They all enjoyed a hayride.

Frances Swift from Rockport, Texas, and Jim Swift from Houston, Texas, visited their mother, Willie McClain, at Hillcrest Rehab during Thanksgiving. Others spending the holidays with Billie Ridling were David, Lanna, and Dillon Jennings from Donaldson, son Johnny Ridling from Hot Springs, Ronnie, Terri and Megan Vandiver, Stan and Bron Koger, and Toby, Kim and Shelbi Cottingham.

John, Gina, Erica and Katy Wilson and Mozelle Gill spent Thanksgiving in Redfield with Jackie and Doyle Lucas. On Wednesday the Wilsons spent Thanksgiving with his family in Hope. Recently Cherrie and Mozelle Gill enjoyed a picnic and rode to see the beautiful turning of the leaves.

Those visiting Thais McLelland over the holidays were Jackie McLelland from Kansas City, Jane McLelland from Plano, Texas, James and Jennifer Henry from Tulsa, Okla., Larry and Lisa Seal from Los Angelas, Calif., Sharon Shannon from Ft. Worth, Texas, Tracey, Vicki, Clay and Brad McLelland and John and Dawn McLelland.

Jerry, Rhonda, Justin and Cole Hillery and Emilee Neal enjoyed Thanksgiving in Benton with Jerry's sister, Barbara Baker, and her family.

Katy Wilson spent the weekend in McCaskill with her Mamaw and Papaw Wilson.

Pat Ridling Harris from Hope had her family for Thanksgiving. Those attending were her parents, Bill and Lela Faye, Neil, Mike and Donna Ridling and Randy and Preston Polk from Mississippi.
