Sister L. Tidwell Burse spoke at the Washington Temple #2 COGIC Saturday night, November 21. She is a really good speaker. The church was full of her relatives. Her dad, Artie Tidwell, her brother, her children and grandchildren from St. Louis, Mo., and cousins and friends. She is a very good speaker. Franklin really did sing good. She lives in Prescott.

We had nice services at Bethel Sunday. We had a guest at Sunday school, Mrs. Reannea Newborn from Visitors Chapel A.M.E. Church in Hot Springs. Rev. Calvin M. Lambert is the pastor.

Bro. Wilbert Page stopped by to see George.

Charles Kendrick and his wife, Tina, visited George and me Sunday afternoon. They live in Kansas City.

I went to one of my best friend's funeral service Thursday. Mrs. Dora Watkins, the wife of Bro. Frank Watkins, at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Hope died. Rev. James Hughes, pastor, with Rev. Thomas Adair, presiding elder, eulogist.

The planning council will be the second Saturday, December 12, at Ashdown in Cregg Chapel.

Choir day will be held at Bethel A.M.E. Church the second Sunday in December. Rev. Jerry Bishop will bring the message. His choir will provide the music.

Bubbie Haynie's funeral will be Saturday at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Addie Steve and his wife visited George and me Sunday afternoon. They live in Mineral Springs. He is a city policeman in Mineral Springs.

Nadine Evans Quarles and Narvell visited her father, A.D. Evans, Sunday afternoon. He is in Beverly Health and Rehab. Narvell also visited her cousin, Therman Simpson, while there.

I went to Cana Sunday morning for service. Had a real good service. They formed a men's choir Sunday at Cana.
