We have had a big week celebrating Thanksgiving on Wednesday. Our brother and sister- in-law, Joel and Jaunita Ridgell of Cumby, Texas, brought dinner to my sister, Katie Pittman, and we all had dinner together.

Thanksgiving day our son, Willie Hugh, and his wife brought dinner and spent the day. Sunday we had dinner at Caddo Valley with our granddaughter, Tammy Scoggins, and her husband Steve and son Wynn, Cindy Webb and son Sam, Willie Hugh and Carolyn Hooks, Mr. and Mrs. J.N. LeWallen, Bill and Doris Wells, Mark and Linda Wells and Logan and Roxanna.

Linda and Lyle Brooks, Craig and Aaron of Macon, Ga., spent most of the week with her parents, Everett and Mary Orren. Other guests at Thanksgiving day and during the week were Chloe Orren, Dale Orren, Jim and Bobby Minor, Jim and Leann Meador, Robert Orren and Sharla Williams.

We enjoyed Roy and Syble Brown's visit with us on Wednesday afternoon.

Peggy Roper of Fort Worth, Texas, spent the weekend with her mother, Katie Pittman. On Sunday they had their Thanksgiving dinner. Others attending were Sue Austin, Mike Belle, Dawn and Paul Rudd of Camden, and Paul's nephews Tyler and Joshua Conneley, of Dumas. Mary Perkens, Doris Ridgell and Wilma Compton visited Katie and Sue Austin Saturday afternoon.

Mary Perkins of Pasadena, Gayle and Karen Cook and Evan, Becky and Michael Guettlor of LaPort, Texas, spent a few days with Doris Ridgell and Wanda and Vernon Steven. They had Thanksgiving dinner at Wanda and Vernon Steven's.

Most of the Dick Ridgell family had Thanksgiving dinner with Dodie and Greg Ridling and children. Herbie Ridgell and family, Robin and family, Kay Wren and part of her family, Meme Dickinson and children and Doris Ridgell. If I missed anyone, I'm sorry.

Sammy and Kaye House, Jason and Laurn of Little Rock had Thanksgiving dinner with his parents, Lenord and Faye House, Friday.

Enjoy the little things for one day you may look back and discover they were the big things.
