Published Wednesday, December 2, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneLADY HORNETS 32 Prescott's situation didn't get any better Tuesday night when the Cubbettes traveled to Blevins and returned with a 32-19 loss. Neither squad did much in the opening period, but Blevins was able to take a 3-0 lead into the second. The two teams played evenly in the second stanza, with the Lady Hornets leading 11-8 at the half. Blevins added a point to their lead in the third, by outscoring the Cubbettes 9-8, and hammered Prescott in the final frame, 12-3. A. Jordan led all scorers with 13 for Blevins.
