Artesian Arts And LettersPublished Wednesday, September 29, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneTable Topper: October 1 is the deadline for anyone wishing to sponsor a table for the table topper luncheon on October 16, which is also Boss' Day. Buying your boss a ticket would be a great way to say thanks.' Tickets are $15, which includes lunch and entertainment. Anyone interested in more information should contact Barbara Lowdermilk at 887-3111. Name the Column: October 1 is also the deadline for the name the column contest. We've gathered a few names and would like more. We will be making a decision in October. Craft Bazaar: If you do any kind of crafts and want to make a little extra Christmas money, rent a booth at AAL's craft bazaar which will be held at the Nevada County Fairgrounds on November 20. A ten-by-ten booth is $20. AAL will sponsor a food booth, for those who get the munchies while shopping. Those interested in a booth should contact Heidi Richards at 887-0140 or 887-8214. Membership: We're still looking for people interested in the arts and would like to join the Artesian Arts League. Contact Melva Morman at 887-3739 for more information. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
