I am so confused, but I'm not taking my blanket off.

First of all I want to correct one of my many messes. My news stated last week, John, Gina, Erica and Ryan Burdue spent Thanksgiving in Redfield with Mozelle Gill and Katy Wilson. Instead, the Burdues and Todd Taylor spent the day with Harvey and Faye Taylor.

Seventeen members of the Redland Extension Homemakers Club had their annual luncheon and Christmas party on Tuesday at Western Sizzlin in Hope. Special guests were Gladys Hillery from Fayetteville, Aline Daniel from Hope and her daughter, Biddy Martin, from Texarkana.

Betty Taylor Roberson and husband Jim from Dallas spent the weekend with her mother, Lucy Taylor, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab. Betty and Jim spent Saturday night with her Aunt Donnie Rinkle and attended church at Shady Grove Baptist Church on Sunday.

Glendene Haynie has returned home after spending several days with her sister, Hazel Powell, in Little Rock.

Mary Cox, Dale and Ann and Ruth Wylie from Hope recently visited Dale and Ann's son, Alan, and his family in Springfield, Mo.

Cathy and Beau Straley from Dallas and Mike Cox and family from Camden visited their parents, Pershing and Mary Cox, the weekend after Thanksgiving.

LaNell Nash from Murfreesboro spent the weekend with her son, John Burdue, and his family.

Lucy Taylor from Hillcrest Care and Rehab had birthday supper on Sunday night with her son, Bobby, and his family.

Gladys Hillery from Fayetteville and Marie McNeely from Arkadelphia visited Neil and me on Wednesday and visited others in the community.

I've saved the best 'til last. Our dear friends, Darren, Kristi and Emilee Neal, have moved into their beautiful new home and best of all it's next door to Neil and me. They're young and we're expecting them to take care of us ol' folks.
