CaneyRuby WickerPublished Wednesday, December 9, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune The youth rally at Morris Baptist Church will begin at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, instead of 6:00, because a choir from Minden, La., is doing the program and could not be here as early as six. Margie Reed returned Saturday from Cut-Off, La. She and her Uncle Red Johnson of Little Rock drove to Cut-Off with Charlotte Smith last week. Margie and Red flew into Little Rock and was met by her grandson, Keith Karmel, of Benton. Don and Janice Callicott took Robert Callicott to Shreveport Sunday. Robert caught a plane back to Gainesville, Fla. He will be returning in a few days for the Christmas holidays. Kevin, Pam Cleveland and children, Liz Nunn, Shuntelle Bennett and Paton had lunch Sunday with J.W. and Maxine Glass. Wallace and Retta McBride and Dorothy Appel spent Thanksgiving with Retta's son, Larry Rhodes, and family in Hot Springs. Matt and Mitzie Tucker and son, Austin Samuel, of Austin, Texas, spent the holidays with his parents, Ronnie and Gail, and other relatives here. Bible study will continue Thursday evening at 7:00 at Morris Baptist Church. Dennis Hicks of Dallas, Texas, visited his parents, Bob and Carolyn, for a day or so. He returned to Dallas Sunday.
