The weather man sounds like we are going to have some cooler weather. So far it has been unseasonably warm.

Elsie Elmore returned home Wednesday after spending several weeks with her son, Tommy Elmore, and his family and daughter, Martha Ann Allison, and her family of Hamburg. Tommy accompanied his mother home and spent Wednesday night. Elsie also visited her niece, Joy Shaver, of Hamburg.

Mary and Everett Orren spent Thursday with Fate House of Powderly, Texas.

Chad and Billy Blankenship of Ashdown spent Friday night with Annie Mae Hooks.

Mildred White spent the weekend with her son, Marty, his wife, Rita, and her grandson, Payton, of Little Rock.

Elsie Elmore and Winderleen Jester had supper with Pete and Cathryn Jester and Jimmy Joe Thursday night. It was Pete's birthday.

Donald and Patricia Ingersoll visited Katie Pittman and Julie Beardsley Sunday afternoon.

Doris Ridgell, Kay Wren, Herbie Ridgell, Paul and Robin Ridgell, Meme Dickinson and children, and Dodie Ridling and children spent the weekend with Boletta and Terry Crabtree and Jan and Pam McAllester of Fort Worth, Texas.

Chloe Orren is having trouble with a stubborn bad cold. So is Syble Brown.

It's the life behind our words that make our words ring true.
