Christmas Cantata Schedules Musical

The First United Methodist Church annual Christmas Cantata will be presented on Sunday morning, December 13. The chancel choir will perform the musical, Born a Savior, Born a King by Stan Pethel.

Chancel choir members are Winnie Franklin, Joyce Taylor, Martha Thomas, Bonnie Wimberly, Kara Thomas, Mary Lou Stroud, Patricia Childers, Mary Ann Newton, Marsha Porcelli, LaDawne Simpson, Allen Wimberly, Daryl Potratz, Lewis Jordan, Eric Hittenrauch, Billy Tarpley and Paul Barringer.

United Methodist youth will provide narration for the program. They are Heather Davies, Emily Thomas, J.T. Tarpley, Matthew Lynch, Martin Downey, John Lamm, and Blake Norris.

The musical will be directed by Jerry Childers and will be accompanied by Billie Jean Miller. Billy Tarpley will be featured as soloist and Kay Downey will serve as narration coach.

Everyone is invited to attend this celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
