Brannon, Welch To Wed November 27Published Wednesday, September 29, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. and Mrs. John Warren Brannan Jr., proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their lovely daughter, Susan Ashley, to Matthew Paul Welch. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Patricia Brannan, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Brannan, and Mrs. Brooks Cummings and the late Mr. Brooks Cummings of Prescott. The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Prescott High School. She is a 1999 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, where she obtained a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. She is currently employed with NuVell Credit Corporation in Little Rock. Miss Brannan will soon begin working for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Melvin Welch and Mr. and Mrs. James William Arnold of Benton. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Kenneth Damron of Benton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse James Welch of Pine Bluff. Mr. Welch is a 1991 graduate of Benton High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. He is a graduate of Henderson State University, where he obtained a bachelor of science degree in aviation management. He is employed with Alltel in Little rock and is currently furthering his education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
