FUMC Christmas Program SundayPublished Wednesday, December 9, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesThe children of First United Methodist Church will present a Christmas program on Sunday, December 13, at 6:00 p.m. A variety of Christmas music will be performed by the children's, girls' ensemble and Cabe Middle School handbell choir. The children's choir will sing favorite Christmas spirituals with Josh Jordan, Cory Simpson and Brandon Bradshaw as the featured trio. The girls' ensemble will perform some newer Christmas selections. Ensemble members are Krissi Davies, Carolanne Duke, Natalie Tarpley, Allison Anderson, Lezlee White, Amber Goza, Jessie Livingston, Britta Halliday and Lauren Coston. The handbell choir will present several traditional yuletide numbers. Handbell choir members include Natalie Tarpley, Allison Anderson, Carolanne Duke, Krissi Davies, Jessie Livingston, Britta Halliday, Amber Goza, Lauren Coston, Lezlee White, Lacey Loy, Brandon Bradshaw, Josh Jordan and Cory Simpson. The choral groups will be directed by Jerry Chiders and the handbell players will be directed by Jennifer Gates. The public is invited to attend.
