Zion Baptist Church of the city. Everyone is invited for their support and prayer. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. The Melody Airs of Jersey will be in concert Sunday, December 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the First Memorial Church of God in Christ of the city. Everyone is welcome. Elder Paul Williams, pastor. Pastor Johnny C. Harris and the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church family is proud to announce that on Sunday, December 20, at 3:00 p.m. they will ordain two deacons, Bro. Phillip Giles and Bro. Samuel Hardwick. Everyone is welcome for this special occasion. Sunday, December 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the old senior citizen building on Plum Street, there will be a special service. Special guests, evangelists Mary Smith of Homer, La., Betty Barnett of Ferriday, La., and another evangelist. Everyone is welcome to these services. Rev. Freddie Young, pastor, in charge. The Hot Springs District Planning Council will be at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Gurdon December 19 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Betty Gulley, pastor, will bring the message. Everyone is invited. Bethel A.M.E. Church annual prayer meeting will be every Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Rev. Betty Gulley, pastor. There will be a fellowship program Sunday, December 13, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E.
