Gurdon Classic This WeekBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, December 9, 1998 in the Gurdon Times Teams from four schools will be in the 1998 Gurdon Go-Devil Classic this week. The tourney will feature the Devils and Lady Devils, Arkadelphia's two senior squads, teams from Sparkman and Strong. Action starts in girls play with Strong tangling with Arkadelphia at 4 p.m. Thursday. This will be followed by the senior boys from Strong and Arkadelphia at 5:20. Gurdon's girls hit the hardwood at 6:40 when they tackle Sparkman, with the evening's action being concluded by the Devils and Sparkman in senior boys play at 8 o'clock. Friday's games will see the losers in the girls games playing at 6:30 p.m., with the boys losing teams meeting in consolation play at 8.
