L.C. Bertha Severinghaus

LC. Bertha Rambo Severinghaus, 74, of Arkadelphia died Saturday, December 12, 1998, in Windsor Haven Convalescent Center in Arkadelphia.

Mrs. Severinghaus was born December 13, 1923, in Blytheville. She was the daughter of Pleas and Lessie Massey Rambo. She was a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker, where she and her husband made home crafts as a hobby.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold Severinghaus; four brothers, M.D. Rambo of Los Angeles, Calif., J.W. Rambo of Bolivar, Mo., R.H. Rambo of Loves Park, Ill., and Harry Rambo of Fort Worth, Texas; and two sisters, Nellie Northcutt of Selma, Ala., and Dorothy Russell of Blytheville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as several foster children.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, December 16, at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia with the Rev. Larry Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at the Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.

Family requests memorials be made to Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church.
