William Robert KnightPublished Tuesday, December 15, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneWilliam Robert 'Bill' Knight, 78, of Bluff City died Sunday, December 13, 1998, in Bluff City. Mr. Knight was born July 12, 1920, in Willow to James Barnes and Edith Giles Knight. He was a retired fire ranger with the Arkansas Forestry Commission and a retired World War II U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of Bluff City Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon of the church. Survivors include one son, Robert Knight of Bluff City; one daughter, Patricia Hollis of Monroe, La.; one sister, Katie Rogers of Huttig; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 15, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott with the Rev. Donald Coon officiating.
