Quiet a bit of difference in this week's weather and last week, but you can rest assured, I'm prepared.

Lola Cagle from Dallas spent last weekend with her brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Betty Cagle.

Danny and Lisa Pennington visited his brother, Bud Lanius, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

The Blevins School faculty, including our own Kim Cox, enjoyed their annual Christmas party at the beautiful home of Ed Talley on Saturday night.

Clark and Myla Crellin have returned from a vacation trip to Lake Tahoe.

Nan Tomlin and daughter, Amy Shockly, and children from Denham, La., and Melissa Tomlin from Tyler, Texas, recently visited Jim and Leona Ballard.

Toni and Peggy Cox from Camden spent Saturday night with their grandparents, Pershing and Mary Cox.

Katy Wilson won the best-decorated 4-wheeler in the Prescott Christmas parade and her little doggie, Muffin Wilson, won the best-dressed pet. On Saturday night Katy and Samantha Gordon attended the movie, 'I'll be home for Christmas' in Texarkana.

Betty and Roy Cagle visited George and Joy Cox Friday night.

Harvey and Ruth Barham from Dallas spent a few days at their home here.

Mary Cox had a nice long visit by phone with her brother, Ivan Hildebrand, in Round Rock, Texas, on Saturday night.

Smile a little from an unknown church bulletin: Thursday at 5 p.m. there will be a meeting of the 'Little Mothers Club.' All wishing to become little mothers will please meet the pastor in his study.
