Darinda Gail RayPublished Wednesday, December 23, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesDarinda Gail Ray, 24, of Curtis died Sunday, December 20, 1998. Ms. Ray was born on August 8, 1974, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of Raymon Ray and Gail McAnally Johnson. She was a pharmacy technician and a student at Henderson State University. She was an honor graduate from Remington College as a paralegal and member of the Oak Park Baptist Church. Survivors include her father, Raymon Ray of Gurdon; her mother, Gail Johnson of Little Rock; two sisters, Angela Ledbetter of Arkadelphia and Laura Johnson of Benton; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ray of Gurdon, and Mr. and Mrs. James McAnally of Curtis; and her great grandfather, Walter Sligh of Gurdon. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 22, at the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. David Harris and Rev. James Guthrie officiating. Interment was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphia.
