Golden OldiesDoris VancePublished Wednesday, December 30, 1998 in the Gurdon Times Hope everyone had a happy Christmas holiday. We wish to thank the First United Methodist Church handbell choir, led by Jennifer Gates, for entertaining the senior adults on December 22. The Gurdon Senior Adult Center didn't get to enjoy breakfast on December 23, because of the bad weather. The ones who have December birthdays will be honored on December 30. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
