Von GordonPublished Wednesday, December 30, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneVon Gordon, 63, of Prescott died Sunday, December 27, 1998, at her home. Miss Gordon was born on August 26, 1935, in Delight to James Hubbard Gordon and Katie Jim Tyree Gordon. She was retired from Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla., and she was a retired manager of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce. She was a Methodist and a member of the Prescott Rotary Club. She was preceded in death by her great nephew, Justin Chad Gordon, who died in 1986. Survivors include her brother, Mike Gordon of Delight; two nephews, Chad M. Gordon and Che M. Gordon, both of Delight; one niece, Candi Von Gordon of Delight; and two great nieces, Amanda Gordon and Erica Gordon; both of Delight. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 29, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott. Burial was in Midway Cemetery near Prescott with Rev. Freeman Henderson officiating.
