Lord, when I am lonely, perhaps may I feel despair, please remind my aching heart that you are always there; remind me that know matter what I do or fail to do, there is always hope for me, if I have faith in you.

Our pastor and his wife, Rev. Lessly Banks and Venessa Banks, appreciation will be held the second Sunday in October at Cana AME Church. We have had a pretty good year.

Mrs. Helen Haynie, Mrs. Margie Haynie, Mrs. Irsh Jean Dansby and granddaughter and Mrs. Dorothy Brown went to Orlando, Fla., last week. They reported they had a wonderful time. They went by bus, you get to see more.
