Now that I've wished you a Merry Christmas I'd like to say Happy New Year.

Bill and Lela Faye Ridling had visiting them Saturday, their kids, Bill Jr., Mike and Pat Harris and their families.

Visiting George and Joy Cox for breakfash and Santa Claus on Christmas Day were their children, Lisa, Danny, Kyle and Caley Pennington and Gary, Gaywyn, Gigi and Grant Golden from Murfreesboro.

Our visitors during the holidays were Betty Wilson from Texarkana, Chris and Ginger Meeks from Dallas and also Charity and Caleb managed to brave the icy roads for supper on Wednesday afternoon. Gene and Wanda Steed from Camden visited us on Christmas Day. Our other grandson, Casey, who's in school at Ole Miss, started in, but, because of icy roads, had to stop and get a motel in Lonoke. He is finally in for a short visit.

Van White and Todd Taylor had lunch with Neil and me on Christmas Eve.

Darren Neal's mother, Peggy Roldel and niece Natalee from Jonesboro spent Christmas week with Darren, Kristi and Emilee. This being Emilee's first Christmas, Grandma and Santa spoiled her good and treated her just like a little angel. Just wait till she pulls all the tree decorations off and even pulls the tree over.

Christi Cuthbertson and children from Havelock, N.C., visited her parents, Ricky and Nancy Burke.

Jerry, Rhonda, Justin and Cole Hillery had their Christmas get together on Tuesday night. Those attending were Eddie and Bettie Hillery, Chanda Martin and family and Kristi Neal and family.

Clark, Myla, Darby and Garrett Crellin spent Christmas in Louisiana with his parents, Dale and Roberta Crellin.

Billie Ridling had a house full on Christmas day. This will give you an idea: Kim Cottingham and family, Terri Vandiver and family, Rhonda Hillery and family and Johnny Ridling and family.

Virgle and Linda Kisselburg had their children, sisters, brothers and families on Christmas day.

Cathy and Beau Straley from Dallas, Ann and Dale Wylie from Hope, and Mike, Connie and girls from Camden spent Christmas with their parents, Pershing and Mary Cox.

Jerry Hilderbrand and children from Texarkana visited his parents, Arl and Cleo Hilderbrand, on Friday.

Joe and Jan Lucas and granddaughter from Longview, Texas, spent Christmas Day with Donnie Rinkle.

Erica Ellis from Fayetteville spent Saturday and Saturday night with her grandparents, George and Dixie Clary.

Karen DeYoung from Fayetteville is spending the holidays with her parents, Walt and Mary DeYoung.

Julene and Willie Hulan and Velma Loe had Christmas dinner with their son and daughter, Bud and Sandy Loe.
