Money 2000 and Beyond is coming to Arkansas and you can be a part of this exciting educational program! Money 2000 is a program designed to increase the financial stability of Arkansas consumers through increased saving and reduced household debt.

Specifically, households in every county will be encouraged to save, reduce debt or a combination of both by at least $2,000 by the year 2003.

Participants may choose from a wide range of educational programs. They may learn about subjects, such as basic budgeting, debt management and communicating about money. These educational programs may be offered at workplace sites, in day or evening classes and seminars, through print materials, a home study course and/or other methods.

Money 2000 has been designed to meet the financial needs of youth adults, parents, parents raising financially-responsible children and other individuals and groups.

For more information, contact the Nevada County Extension office at 887-2818.
