Money 2000 and Beyond is an educational program offered through the Cooperative Extension Service, University of Arkansas, that increases financial well-being through reducing household debt and increasing savings. You will learn the main steps to manage your money successfully so you can save. First, the focus is on setting financial goals and setting aside money to achieve them. Next comes ways to save money by reducing expenses (food, finance charges, insurance, clothes, housing). Later participants learn how to maximize savings to get the best returns. These savings can then be used to buy a home, educate children, support retirement or reach any other financial goal identified. You could become debt free by 2003.
