Clifford Lynn CrossPublished Wednesday, January 13, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneClifford Lynn Cross, 80, of Cleveland, Ga., died Thursday, January 7, 1999, at Lanier Park Regional Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Cross was born in Prescott and had lived in Venice, Fla., most of his life before moving to White County, Ga., in 1980. He was the son of the late George William Cross and Lillie Kelly Cross and was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Thelma Sandifer Cross. Mr. Cross was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Survivors include his son, Robert II Cross Sr., of Cleveland, Ga.; two daughters, Maxine Bailey and Shirley Kidd, both of Venice, Fla.; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Graveside services were Sunday, January 10, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry C. Barnes officiating.
