BodcawAline ClausPublished Wednesday, January 13, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune We have had some cold mornings. It is nice when it warms up during the day. A good turn out for church Sunday. We received two members by baptism. We say welcome to them. Ervin Fairchild of Prescott came to see Maudie Miller on Sunday. They made a trip to Magnolia to visit her brother, Warren Almond. He seemed to be doing some better. They made some other stops along the way, visiting with friends. The Francis Travel Tours of Arkadelphia had a luncheon on Friday for people who have traveled with them. These include Morine Vines, Mary Jo Gregory, Earlene Butler, Nell Butler, Betty Oswalt, Sherry Warren and myself. We also saw Ruby Wicker and Marjorie Reed. It was a nice trip. Maudie's daughter, Sherry Lane, and her family from Greenwood are moving to Arkadelphia, a lot closer to Mom. Chris, Jennifer and McKenzie Walton visited Todd Butler over the weekend.
