Rex and Shelby Moffett of Soper, Okla., and Toby and Kim Barr visited Katie Pittman and Julie Beardsley Sunday. The Elsie Elmore family had their annual Christmas get together Saturday night at the home of Cathryn and Pete Jester and Jimmy Joe. Approximately 28 attended this occasion. Friends and relatives of Alice Lawrence will be sorry to hear she has been quite ill in a Louisiana hospital, but is doing better. Besides her son and daughter-in-law, Bro. Jerry Smith and Huey Garner visited Chloe Orren last week. We are happy to report Lyndal Garner didn't have to have heart surgery Tuesday. They are treating him with medication. Our friend, Lucy Heath, spent some time in the hospital, but is able to be home. Remember all our sick in your prayers. Mae Blount enjoyed most of her family (approximately 35) for their Christmas dinner Sunday. Tommy and Helen Elmore, Chriss and Kelli, Malvern and Lou Elmore and Steve, Bud and India Henderson, Theresa and Courtney Jackson and a friend spent Saturday night with Elsie Elmore. Sorry to hear Roy Brown is in Wadley Hospital at Texarkana. Hope he gets to come home before Christmas. Tomika Crabtree Cassidy and Taylor of Little Rock were visiting Katie Pittman and Julie Beardsley Monday. Opening your Bible can be a real eye opener.
