Twenty-two Glass family members and friends met at the Cross Roads for supper on Tuesday evening for their regular monthly fellowship.

Ann Loe and I went to Nevada Monday to listen to the children read. We sure enjoyed it. They read so well and were very attentive.

Dale and Ethel Ellis visited Lucy Glass Monday.

Double C Extension Homemakers Club will meet at Cale City Hall Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

This week is the fourth Thursday evening singing at Morris Baptist Church. It begins at 7:00 p.m., so you all need to come.

Brother Junior and Ann Loe, Bro. Tal Webb and his family and Sidney Steed had lunch with Lucy Glass Sunday after church.

Don, Janice and Robert Callicott, Phyllis and April Stewart and Amy and Emily Sweat had supper with me Saturday. After supper we went over to visit Cannon and Heather Callicott. They are still working in their house and it sure looks pretty.

We also went by to see Lucy's new house. She is still in the moving process, but her house is beautiful.

Ken and Celia Karmel returned from New Orleans Thursday. He attended an oil and gas meeting.

I hope Bill Ed Dixon in Orange, Texas, is feeling better. I heard through the grapevine he had an appendectomy. His wife, Glenda, was from Caney before moving to Orange.

Nita Joyce Wicker has been in Fort Smith three days this week on jury duty. She has also been helping out at Fore's Department Store in Prescott in her spare time. Ricky Marlar is in surgery again.

Charles Callicott and his friends from Camden visited our church again Sunday. After church they took his parents, Coy and Grace, out to lunch.

Thought: If we are what we eat, why aren't we new, improved, fat free and light.
