Rodgers AppointedPublished Wednesday, January 27, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneState Rep. Sandra Rodgers of Hope has been appointed to the Arkansas Game and Fish Funding Study Committee, which helps maintain legislative oversight of the state Game and Fish Commission. House speaker Bob Johnson of Bigelow appointed Rep. Rodgers to the position on Tuesday, January 19, at the state Capitol in Little Rock. The Game and Fish Commission Funding Study Committee was created in 1995 to maintain oversight responsibilities for the Game and Fish Commission. The Committee also offers recommendations for legislation to the Governor and to the General Assembly. Rep. Rodgers serves as vice chairman of the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee and chairs the committee's Military Affairs Subcommittee.
