Prescott Fourth And Eighth Grades To Take ACTAP Test

The parents of Prescott fourth grade and eighth grade students should be aware that their children will take the ACTAP test February 1, 2, 3 and 4. This test will identify students who may need additional instruction in language arts and mathematics.

Each student was given a note to take home describing the test. The note also offers suggestions on how parents can help to prepare their children for the test.

Some of the suggestions offered are make sure your child

gets plenty of sleep the night before the test;
has breakfast the morning of the test;
goes to school the day of the test;
knows you think he/she will do well on the test; and
understands that the test is important.
