Noal A. AndrewsPublished Wednesday, January 27, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneNoal A. Andrews, 79, of Wilmington, Ill., died Sunday, January 10, 1999, in Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Ill. Mr. Andrews was born November 3, 1919 in Prescott to Arthur and Nola (McClain) Andrews. He was a World War II veteran, having served with the U.S. Army in Alaska. He was a member of the UAW local 588 of Chicago Heights, retiring in 1987 after 30 years at Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights. Survivors include his wife Johnnie Helen (Phifer) Andrews; two sons, Danny L. Andrews and Randy Andrews, both of Wilmington; three brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private service was held at Freitag Funeral Home in Wilmington with cremation rites accorded at his request. Internment of ashes at Flatwoods Cemetery in Camden, Tenn., was held at a later date.
