A shower was given for Brandon Rhodes and Shelley Browning in the Annex of Morris Baptist Church Friday evening. Hostesses were Heather Callicott, Christa Webb, Janice Callicott, Ann Loe, Lifton Cearley and Lucy Glass. I understand they plan a February wedding.

Bro. Tal and Crista Webb and girls had lunch with Coy and Grace Callicott.

Fourth Thursday singing will be Thursday evening beginning at 7:00 at Morris Baptist Church.

Next Sunday will be fifth Sunday fellowship potluck with singing in the afternoon at Morris Baptist Church.

Margie Reed fell Friday and injured both her wrists. We wish her a speedy recovery.

I enjoyed having all my kids all 15 of my daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and their spouses visiting me Sunday. They all went to church with me and came back to my house for potluck. You see we are celebrating my ??th birthday.

Lot of sick folks since last writing: Crista Webb, Maxine Glass, Florence Tucker, Junior and Ann Loe and Eyvon Munn. Powell Cross is still under the doctor's care and having more tests made.

Ruby Glass Ward and Lyda Glass were buried in Caney Cemetery last week. Both lived in Caney years ago. Lyda would have been 101 years old in May.

Coy Tucker was baptized at Laneburg Baptist Church Sunday.

Chad Marcum was baptized at Morris Baptist Church Sunday morning and Wayne Robbins united with Morris Baptist Church by letter.

We has quite a bit of storm damage in this area. Lots of trees down. Bill Rhodes had extensive damage on his chicken houses and lost some chickens. It also blew a tree into the church parsonage.

Thought: I meant to call and Thank you, but my time is in demand; I meant to say I love you, but I know you understand; I meant to send you flowers, but they cost so much you know; I meant to pray for you this morning, but I had some place to go; I meant to say "forgive me," but that's so hard to do; I heard my Lord say 'Bless you;' I hope he meant me too.
