Prescott, Mena Games Good For Fans And PlayersBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, January 27, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune Area basketball fans got more than their money's worth Friday, Jan. 22, when Mena came to town. The Bearcats and Ladycats made the long trip to Prescott, and had no intentions of going back as losers. In one case they did and another they didn't. The Lady Bearcats bit off more than they could chew against the Wolverettes, while the 'Cats managed to outlast the Curley Wolves in their game.
