The Lady Blue Jays improved their conference record to 9-1 after taking the Lady Yellow Jackets Friday night, 50-36.

The Nevada team led 12-10 after one quarter, but Stamps evened it at 12 early in the second. But that was it. The Lady Jays slid away fast, only allowing one more point for Stamps during the quarter. Nevada led 24-13 at halftime.

Ramona Evans of Nevada was the game's leading scorer with 21 points. Team mate Pam Young followed with 14 points.

Others scoring for Nevada were Alexis Madison with 7, Jackie House with 4 and Carlesha Mixon 2 points.

Rachel Dockery of Stamps scored 00 points.
