Couple United In Marriage On December 27 In FriendshipPublished Wednesday, January 27, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesLinda Hughes and Zack Lambert were united in marriage December 27 at 2:00 in a double ring ceremony at First Pentecostal Church of Friendship. Rev. Cay Damon officiated. Bridesmaids were Kathy Smith of Donaldson and the bride's sister, Vergie Collins, of Stamps. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Sam Wiess, of Stamps. The flowergirl was Maili Wiess, the bride's niece, also of Stamps. The bride wore a knee-length pink chiffon dress. The groom wore a brown suit. His best men were his two sons, Rick and Jack Lambert of Arkadelphia. Several friends and relatives of the couple attended the lovely event. A reception was held in the church's lunchroom, where the bride and groom received many gifts following the ceremony .
