Buddy Ralph RobbinsPublished Wednesday, January 27, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesBuddy Ralph Robbins, 56, of Magnet Cove died Friday, January 22, 1999, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Mr. Robbins was born February 3, 1942, in Jonesboro to John Prentice and Syble Stalls Robbins. Mr. Robbins was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church of Gurdon. He was truck driver for the past 30 years, driving the last four years for Hoskins of Malvern. Survivors include his wife, Earlene Robbins of Magnet Cove; three sons, Buddy Ralph Robbins Jr. of Magnet Cove, Johnny Brent Robbins of Magnet Cove and Rickey Sikes of Malvern; four daughters, Patty Kuhn of Gurdon, Bridgett LeighAnn Robbins of Magnet Cove, Janet Heflin of Malvern and Sharon Burchfield of McGehee; his parents, John and Syble Robbins of Hope; two brothers, Bob Robbins of Gurdon and Bill Robbins of Hope; two sisters, Jan Robbins Danner of Cullman, Ala., and Melinda Robbins Osborn of Hope; and 14 grandchildren. Services were held Monday, January 25, at Regency Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern with Bro. James McCain officiating. Burial was in Fairplay Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dennis Bowman, Rickey Sikes, Al Stiars, Jerry Woodall, Don Scott and Frankie Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Ab Tilley and Keven King.
