Tuesday night last week was a different story. The Lady Jays easily handled the Lewisville Lady Red Devils 56-37.

Jackie House led the winners with 14 points. Right behind her were Pam Young and Ramona Evans with 13 points each.

Others scoring for Nevada were Alexis Madison with 9 points, Nekina Adair and Ronetha Pearson with 3 each and Carrenthia Gulley with 2 points.

Cassandra Henry led Lewisville with 17 points while Makkia Daniel scored 10 for the Lady Devils.

Nevada led 21-5 after one period, 33-12 at halftime and 42-22 going into the final period.
