Donations Needed

In response to the recent tornado destruction in Arkansas, First United Methodist Church at 125 West Second North will serve as a collection site for relief items that will go to tornado survivors throughout Arkansas. Money and goods are desperately needed.

The following is a partial list of items relief agencies in central Arkansas have said are in great demand: flashlights and batteries, brooms, mops, bleach and other cleaning supplies, bottled water, heavy duty trash bags, work gloves, paper products, blankets, pillows and sheets, sleeping bags, towels and wash cloths, undergarments for all ages, pots and pans, baby food, diapers, formula, wipes, coloring books, toys, games, Bibles and ready-to-eat food.

Donations may be brought to First United Methodist Church from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. this Wednesday (today) and Thursday and from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday. For more information, call 887-2441.
