Browning, Rhodes To Wed February 20th

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Browning of Emmet announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shelly Kay, to James Brandon Rhodes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rhodes of Caney.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bobbie Booker and the late Douglas Booker of Emmet and Mrs. Floyce Browning and the late Grady Browning of Hope. She is the great granddaughter of Mrs. Martha Manning of Prescott.

Miss Browning is a 1994 graduate of Nevada High School, a 1998 graduate of Southern Arkansas University and is currently a business teacher at Hope High School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Laverne Pruitt and the late Everett Pruitt and Mrs. Louise Rhodes and the late Howard Rhodes all of Caney.

Mr. Rhodes is a 1993 graduate of Nevada High School, a 1998 graduate of University of Arkansas Community College at Hope, and is currently a respiratory therapist at St. Michael's Heath Care Center in Texarkana.

The wedding will take place on Saturday, February 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Emmet.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
