Oak GroveLula Q. KendrickPublished Wednesday, February 3, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune Alice Tucker's funeral was held Saturday, January 30, at Clevent Springs. She was the sister of Mrs. Earstine Dockery. Mrs. Virgil Fower's funeral was Monday at Clevent Springs in Falcon. They both were members of the same church. There will be an appreciation for Sis. Gean Dansby at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Saturday night. She underwent heart surgery at Little Rock. They have started putting the top on the Oak Grove Gymnasium. Our first quarterly conference will be held at New Salem A.M.E. Church February 7. Rev. Thomas Adair is the presiding elder. Rev. Lessly Banks is the pastor. George Kendrick went to the V.A.
