Nevada County artists will be spotlighted for the second year in a row as it's time to design T-shirts for the 12th Annual Chicken and Egg Festival.

Mary Godwin, director of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, said those planning to enter designs should include the following information: year, Prescott, Arkansas and 12th Annual Chicken and Egg Festival.

The designs are limited to a maximum of three colors. Entries should be no smaller than eight inches by 10 inches, but can be larger.

The winner will be determined by a committee selection. The committee, Godwin said, has the right to reject any and all submissions.

The finished design should be brought to the Chamber office at 116 E. Second South, by March 5, 1999.

The winner will receive a $50 cash prize for their effort. Additionally, the winning design will be announced in the Nevada County Picayune March 16.

For more information about the T-shirt contest, call the Chamber at 887-2101.
