George and Joy Cox visited his brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Mel, in Ashdown on Wednesday. LaNell Nash from Murfreesboro visited her son, John Burdue, and his family over the weekend. My Aunt Lou Ella Cobb from Hope visited Neil and me on Sunday. Faye Taylor and her granddaughter, Erica, visited Faye's mother, Minnie Moore, in Camden on Sunday. Julene and Willie Hulan honored their son, Thomas, with a birthday dinner on January 28. Those attending were his family, Linda, Kim, Ashlie and Bud, Sandy and Shanna Loe. Also visiting the Hulan's last week were her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Audry Curtis, from Emerson. Corina, Jerry, Shelbi and Sarah Booker recently honored Corina's mother, Sophie Taylor, with a family birthday dinner. Those attending were her husband, Bobby, and two sons, Bobby Jr. and Randy. Trent Cox spent Friday night with his grandparents, Polly and Benny Phillips. Jerry and Corina Booker recently honored their daughter, Shelbi, on her fifth birthday with a party at their home. John and Sue Ratcliff had a family get together on Sunday to celebrate Ben and Tiffany's birthdays. About 17 were present. Our son-in-law, Tim Wilson, is recuperating at his home in Texarkana. Shane and Amanda Meador had lunch with his parents, Sid and Sandy Meador, on Sunday. Since we can't give her a party, we will just surprise Christi Burke Cuthbertson way out in Havelock, N.C. Happy birthday, Christi. Those having Sunday lunch with Ricky and Nancy Burke were his parents, Joe and Doris, and his brother and his family, Steve, Genevieve, Derek, Lindsey and Daniel Burke.
