Kelly Whitmarsh Admitted To University Of Central ArkansasPublished Wednesday, February 10, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneKelly Marie Whitmarsh, daughter of Glenn and Linda Whitmarsh of Prescott, has recently received notification of her admittance into physical therapy school at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Whitmarsh, along with six other UCA students, has been admitted to the school through a new early special admissions procedure. In order to be admitted by early acceptance a student must have attended UCA since the freshman year, and must have maintained a 3.7 overall grade point average and a 3.6 science grade point average. Whitmarsh has maintained a 4.0 grade point average, which made her eligible for this great honor. She will start physical therapy school this August, along with 79 other students. The program will last for 28 months. After completion of all required course material, the students will graduate with a master of arts degree in physical therapy.
