Boss's Day:

Great news! Boss's Day is October 16, the same day as AAL's table topper luncheon. Show your appreciation by buying your boss a ticket. Cost is $15, which includes a full meal in gracious surroundings and entertainment.

We still need individuals, businesses and clubs to sponsor tables and show your support for community arts. This event is the league's fall fund-raiser and we need lots of participation. Information and packets explaining the details can be obtained by contacting Barbara Lowdermilk at 887-2305.

Calling all crafters:

AAL will host a craft bazaar at the Nevada County Fairgrounds on November 20. Booths will be 10x10. They are reasonably priced. AAL will sponsor a food booth with lots of goodies.

Poetry reading:

Our first poetry reading and coffee was a success with about 12 people attending. Ages ranged from 13 and up. The interest was such that we will be holding another in the future.

Literacy:

The book drive for the Literacy Council is on-going. Please take all unwanted books to the Learning Center at 304 East Vine.

Membership:

Anyone wishing to join the Artesian Arts League should contact Melva Morman at 887-3739.

Contact me at 887-6241 or 324 East Main, Prescott, with questions, comments or art-related info.
