College NewsPublished Wednesday, September 22, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneTessa Dell Horton, daughter of Rick and Janice Horton, of Marshall completed the University of Central Arkansas dietetic internship program August 6 and is eligible to sit for the registered dietician professional exam. She graduated from UCA August 13 with a master of science in family and consumer sciencesdietetics. Horton's honors and activities include American Dietetic Association, American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, dean's list, Who's Who Among Students at American Universities, Student Activities board, UCA Ambassador, Phi Upsilon Omicron, student orientation staff, Sigma Kappa Sorority, recipient of Cecily Coffelt Bullard Scholarship and Dr. Roy C. and Dollie Randleman Holl Scholarship. She is employed by Sysco Foods of Little Rock. Horton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eudorus Garrison and Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Horton of Marshall, Texas.
