Bro. D.D. Fairchild

Bro. D.D. Fairchild, 75, of Perrytown died Thursday, February 11, 1999, at St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.

Bro. Fairchild was born on November 4, 1923, in Nevada County to J. Beaucham and Anise Hart Fairchild. He was the minister of Providence Memorial Baptist Church in Perrytown and a dental technician. He was a member of Providence Memorial Baptist Church and a Mason for over 50 years. He began preaching in January 1955 in Magnolia after being ordained in Bluff Springs. He attended Columbia Bible School in Magnolia and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Garrett Fairchild of Perrytown; one daughter, Donna Fairchild Reyenga of Prescott; two brothers, Bob Fairchild of North Little Rock and Johnny Fairchild of Camden; one sister, Lorraine Fairchild Hollis of Bridge City, Texas; one granddaughter, Tiffany Reyenga of Hope; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, February 13, at Providence Memorial Baptist Church in Perrytown with Rev. George Reddin and Wayne Langston officiating. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
